GENERAL: KRK: Market Announcement

Since the Company's announcement on 7 February, the Board has exchanged
further miscellaneous correspondence with J C Capital with respect to the
latter's proposals for acquiring the Company's retail business.  At this
stage the Board has a substantially different view on the value of the retail
business from that of JC Capital.  Accordingly the Board is not proposing any
further discussions at this stage.   As and when the Listing Rules require, a
further announcement will be made.
