REL: 1522 HRS The NZX MidCap Index Fund

GENERAL: MDZ: MDZ- Correction of Units on Issue redeemed on 6 Sept 2013

The manager of the SmartMIDZ advises that as at close of business on 6
September 2013 a total of 200,000 units had been redeemed since 5 September
2013 and not Nil Units as previously published. The total number of units on
issue published on that day was correct at 15,333,646 and remains so.

Subsequent announcements released have been correct but the Units on Issue
figure was not updated accordingly on www.nzx.com until today 02 October
2013.
