Deg holds so much unexplored prospective land that I really hope we don't get a takeover offer as there is no way any realistic near term offer would adequately reward the potential that may and probably does exist.
it would be like selling apple shares just before the iPod was first produced.
what I dont really understand are the implications of
dgo having it's blocking stake in deg. What are the risks to small retail shareholders should it decide either way in the case of a takeover bid. Can we be forced to sell our shares cheaper than we wanted or what? If dgo wasnt there and a takeover bid was attempted and we don't agree with it don't we just not sell our shares to the takeover perpertrator and carry on our merry way, subject to the whims of the market as always?
