This mob are doing my head in.
I thought we had a functioning mine in PNG (small, but nevertheless digging something up), were actively exploring/drilling for more, and that the Coy (under the direction of our erstwhile directors) were progressing things along (moving forward, as someone in a previous nightmare was wont to say).
Seems there has been more betel chewed than dirt mined, and the whole operation has been more trouble than enough.
Enter the challengers from the left.
And what are they going to do for us? Who knows. Apart from a deal of stirring on here, deathly silence. This leads me to suspect they feel they already have the numbers, and don't need our votes.
My guess is that within a year or so NIU will be a shell and the leases in PNG will be in the hands of others (Don't ask me who "others" may be. I'm too old to go to jail).
And where does that leave you and me? As the saying goes, experience is what you get when you don't get what you want, and that, I feel, is what we will end up with.
