As another poster mentioned, a merger is indeed likely but not in the first instance, the stated subject of this meeting. Any merger-related initiatives would require exhaustive SH inclusion.

Could be DFS (mining license unlikely yet, as enviro app just received), and my guess is they'd need most of Q1 for it.

Could be resource upgrade (but at this late stage I'd have thought that would be stapled to the DFS), and would not alter the basic premise behind the placement meeting.

Could be that votes favourable to are insufficient at current count (come on people, this is important, get those votes in)

Management states chairman getting SH approval for the postponement (how and when will this be sought?)

What possible additional info might sway SH voting one way or another is the question.

The meeting will ultimately be negated by bigger and unrelated news.

The required votes favorable to either KAH/RIO et al have not been received, and the extra time was sought by either party to facilitate their respective agendas.

Speculating further, if it's agenda-based, could it be that this 'new information for SH' might signal the start of corporate revelations of a combatant nature...now wouldn't that be lovely for the SP. All very cloak and dagger.
