MAINFREIGHT LIMITED

Mainfreight confirms that the change in leadership for its European
operations (Wim Bosman Group) is now in effect.  Ben Fitts, who previously
led Mainfreight's New Zealand Air & Ocean business, replaces Mark Newman, who
led the European business from the date of its acquisition in 2011.  Mark has
taken early retirement, and leaves with the Company's gratitude for his
leadership and contribution over many years.
