GENERAL: MFT: Mainfreight Uncovers Misappropriation in NZ Subsidiary
An internal investigation carried out at Mainfreight's subsidiary, Daily
Freight (1994) Ltd, has uncovered misappropriation by a credit controller.
The amount is not of a material nature to Mainfreight.
Evidence gathered in the course of the investigation has been passed to the
NZ Police and prosecution is under way. The matter is sub judice.
Daily Freight's control systems have been reviewed and tightened.
