GENERAL: NFF: Distribution Contract in Italy

Nufarm and Sumitomo Chemical enter into distribution contract in Italy

Nufarm Limited ("Nufarm") and Sumitomo Chemical Company Limited ("Sumitomo
Chemical") announced today that Nufarm Italia has signed a non-exclusive
distribution contract with Sumitomo Chemical Italia. The new arrangements
will take effect from August 1, 2012.
 This new collaboration will enable Sumitomo Chemical Italia to enlarge their
distribution with access to all Nufarm Italia's crop protection portfolio for
crop uses in Italy, except for seed treatment, while Nufarm's revenues of
branded product sales in Italy will grow further with the benefit of this
additional support from Sumitomo Chemical Italia which has a large sales
organisation and broad access to distribution within the Italian market.
Nufarm's General Manager for South West Europe, Yvonnick Jambon, said "Italy
is the third largest market in the EU. In such an important country, we
expect that this opportunity will increase our product sales opportunities
through Sumitomo Chemical Italia's large capability and excellent level of
service."
Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Chemical, Ray Nishimoto, said "since a
capital tie-up in April 2010, Nufarm and Sumitomo Chemical have expanded
successful distribution collaborations in 19 countries in the world,
including Italy. This new distribution collaboration in Italy will be one of
the most significant collaborations, and we hope it will provide further
strength in the crop protection chemicals business in Sumitomo Chemical
Italia."
Managing Director of Sumitomo Chemical Italia, Andrea Barella, said "we are
excited about adding Nufarm's products to our portfolio and believe our total
offering is now enhanced in some important areas."
Nufarm and Sumitomo Chemical will continue efforts to create synergies in
various business activities including product sales and manufacturing
globally.
