Nuplex Specialties and Nuplex Masterbatch
In response to media speculation, Nuplex Industries today confirmed that it
is in discussions with CHAMP Private Equity in relation to the sale of two of
its ANZ based businesses being the agency & distribution business, Nuplex
Specialties and the plastic additives business, Nuplex Masterbatch.
Discussions are continuing but no binding arrangements have been entered into
at this stage. There is no guarantee a sale will proceed. Nuplex will only
proceed with a transaction if it considers that it maximizes value for Nuplex
shareholders.
In the event that a binding agreement is reached, a further announcement will
be made.
Nuplex remains fully aware of and compliant with its continuous disclosure
obligations.
