GENERAL: NTL: Appointment of Mining Engineer
ANNOUNCEMENT BY NEW TALISMAN GOLD MINES LIMITED (NTL and NTLOA or NTLO)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
APPOINTMENT OF MINING ENGINEER
The Board is delighted to announce it has appointed a highly qualified and
experienced mining engineer, Mr Wayne Chowles, to lead the Talisman mine
development project.
Mr Chowles has more than 25 years experience in underground gold mining the
majority of which was spent in the deep level South African gold mines, and
is a product of the University of the Witwatersrand School of Mines.
He has spent the previous 7 years consulting within the project management
and development field to companies such as Anglo American, African Rainbow
Minerals, Anglo Platinum and, most recently, working with Solid Energy NZ.
Mr Chowles principal role is to plan and oversee the development of the
Talisman underground mine at Karangahake.

mining to the Talisman project
and we are delighted to have Wayne on board", said Matthew Hill, Executive
Director.
Coupled with the appointment of Matthew Hill to Executive Director, based in
Auckland, the New Talisman Management team is now complete and is focused on
the accelerated development of the Talisman Mine.
