GENERAL: NZX: Fonterra Shareholders' Fund to be added to NZX 50 index

Fonterra Shareholders' Fund to be added to NZX 50 index

11 January 2013. NZX Indices announces changes to the NZX 50 Index following
the January 2013 Monthly Index Update. The changes below, and the monthly
index rebalance, will be effective at market open on Monday 21 January 2013.

The Fonterra Shareholders' Fund (FSF) will be added to the NZX 50 Index at
the January Monthly Index rebalance, as it has met the ranking and liquidity
requirements for inclusion. FSF will take the place of Cavalier Corporation
Limited (CAV), who is the lowest ranked constituent in the NZX 50 Index.
