GENERAL: NZX: Launch of Independent Research on Meridian Energy
Independent research on Meridian Energy is now accessible to the public via
NZX's website: https://www.nzx.com/meridian-research
The research from Woodward Partners and Edison is being provided as part of
NZX's Research Pilot programme, which aims to increase research coverage on
listed companies. First NZ Capital, Morningstar and TDB Advisory have also
made their research available, which is now accessible from the NZX webpage
above. Edison's research will be available tomorrow morning once it is
finalised.
NZX has been working closely with the financial markets community to
facilitate the availability of independent research on Meridian Energy to the
public.
NZX is also facilitating conference call briefings tomorrow (Thursday 3
October) with the analysts who have prepared the research. Each analyst will
briefly summarise their research, to be followed by a Q&A session. The media
briefing will be at 11:00am and financial planner briefing at 11:30am.
