GENERAL: NZX: NZX confirms FMA grant of Fonterra Shareholders' Market Reg
NZX confirms FMA grant of Fonterra Shareholders' Market Registration
30 August 2012 - NZX is pleased to announce that the Financial Markets
Authority has granted market registration of the Fonterra Shareholders'
Market. This will enable NZX to operate the market for Fonterra and its
farmer shareholders once Fonterra's Trading Among Farmers regime is launched.
NZX is also pleased to advise that it has been appointed market operator of
the Fonterra Shareholders' Market by Fonterra.
The Fonterra Shareholders' Market is the private market where Fonterra farmer
shareholders will trade Fonterra shares among themselves, as part of the
Trading Among Farmers regime. The market is targeted for launch later in
2012.
