GENERAL: OCF: Origin successfully closes EURO500 million medium term note

Origin successfully closes EUR500 million medium term notes

Origin Energy Limited (Origin) today announced the successful completion of
the EUR500 million (approximately US$646 million) seven year medium term
notes (Notes) issue under its Euro Medium Term Note Program, which was
announced on 3 October 2012.

The Notes will be issued by Origin Energy Finance Limited (a subsidiary of
Origin).

A summary of the key terms and conditions is attached in Annexure A.
