GENERAL: PCT: Downtown resource consent application approved

Precinct Properties New Zealand (NZX: PCT) announced today that it has been
advised of Auckland Council's decision on its resource consent for the
Downtown Shopping Centre site. Auckland Council has decided that the
application can proceed on a non-notified basis and has approved the resource
consent application.

Scott Pritchard, Precinct's Chief Executive, said, "This is a significant
milestone for the project and one that allows us to move forward with greater
certainty. Our Auckland portfolio is now 100% leased and market demand
appears strong for a commercial development of this scale and quality.
Engagement with anchor retail and office occupiers has continued over recent
weeks. Feedback continues to be very positive."
