Looks like the reversal in sector sentiment has begun and is in the early stages of a retracement back to previous higher valuations.

The producers appear to be moving by a consistent % up and in tandem which makes sense as these feature in many index & etf funds + they have automated Algo traders which play in the sector. They benefit from the global market whereas smaller asx explorers rely more on local money and smaller boutique managed funds.

Amongst the explorers, Looks like big brother DEG is leading the way again and right now not too far from their 52 week high. Amazing and cheers all round.

Varied movements between the rest of the explorers. Liquidity & trading volume still fairly low so this part of the sector would benefit greatly from an uptick in volume. Should see more interest in the explorers if POG breaks $1800-$1850.

I see an uptick in bullish sentiment over the next 3-4 months driving by the inflation catalyst & the 10yr yield controlled between the range of 1.5-1.7%.

Continual and consistent news flow from particularly from TSO over the next few months should generate some good strong positive movements. Fundamentals, development and recent anns don't support downward movement so a strong announcement could easily see a gap up back to higher valuations. e.g. LCL with their infill drills at tesorito. Anns are overdue now so the next ann should contain at least 8-10 holes.

For short term trading, best to stick to the mid tier producers and follow the movements in the 10yr yields. If yields fall, buy the producers right on open easy 2%-5% pips to be made, just look back at the trade history. Same pattern each and everytime.
