Ultralon signs major US Distribution Agreement

Ultralon today announced a major new distribution agreement with a leading US
company that opens access to the North American market for its closed-cell
polyolefin foam products. Ultralon is a subsidiary of NZ Stock Exchange (NZX)
listed Skellerup Holdings Limited (NZX:SKL)

The distribution agreement is with Composites One, a privately owned US
company that is the leading distributor of composite materials in North
America. Composite One carries over 32,000 of raw materials and supplies and
over 2,000 product categories. It also has partnerships agreements with more
than 600 suppliers.
Ultralon's general manager Paul Goddard said this was an exceptional
agreement with the leading distributor in North America. "It gives us
immediate access to the entire US market. Composites One has a huge sales
force and a network of more than 35 local distribution centres. It is a
respected player in the industry and has many relationships that will provide
valuable opportunities for us."

Ultralon, which manufactures high quality closed-cell foams suitable for a
broad range of applications, will initially focus on supply to the marine and
sporting goods market from its foam range. The marine products include
decking treads, boat and dock fenders and boat cushions. The sporting range
includes products that absorb impact and are flexible.

Paul Goddard said: "In time we would hope to introduce more products from our
range. Our products are renowned for their consistently fine cell structure -
even density and even colour dispersion through the sheet - producing light
weight products with a high level of insulation, minimal water absorption and
excellent toughness."

Ultralon began making foam in the early 1970's, and has become known the
world over for its high quality closed-cell foams in the orthotics and
sporting goods liner products. Ultralon's markets include Australasia, North
America, and Europe.
