Serko Signs Reseller Agreement With BCD Travel
Serko Online Now Available Through All Major Global Travel Agencies, Setting
the Company Up for Global Roll Out of Services
Serko Limited (NZX:SKO), a leader in online travel booking and expense
management for business, announced that it has signed a reseller agreement
with BCD Travel, a global travel management company providing corporate
travel services to businesses in more than 110 countries.
The agreement is multi-year and gives BCD Travel the right to distribute
Serko Online and Serko Incharge to its base of corporate customers across the
world. BCD Travel provides a wide range of travel-related services globally,
has a combined worldwide workforce of 11,000, and produced total sales of
US$22.4 billion in 2014.
Darrin Grafton Serko CEO said "this is a really important signing for us as
it's the last of the big Global TMCs to join Serko and represents an
opportunity for additional growth in the wider APAC region. BCD is a key
element in our globalization strategy."
"We will now be starting work on the implementation and on-boarding of BCD
business. Revenues in FY16 from this contract will not be material for this
reason, and are already factored into current year guidance", added Grafton.
