Spark New Zealand ADR Ticker Code Change

Spark New Zealand has today announced that it will be changing its ADR ticker
code from NZTCY to SPKKY.  The symbol change follows Spark New Zealand's
rebrand from Telecom Corporation of New Zealand in August 2014.

The change will take effect from 9.30 am on 17 March 2016 (US Eastern
Standard Time).

Spark New Zealand will continue to provide its sponsored ADR programme in
conjunction with Bank of New York Mellon and ADRs will continue to trade on
the U.S. 'over-the-counter' market under the new ticker code SPKKY.  Spark
New Zealand's ordinary shares remain listed on the NZX Main Board and the
Australian Securities Exchange (ticker code SPK).
