STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

10 July 2012

Telecom suspends trading on New York Stock Exchange, commences trading on
over-the-counter market

Telecom has announced that the last day of trading of its American Depositary
Receipts (ADRs) on the New York Stock Exchange was 9 July 2012.  Trading of
Telecom ADRs will commence in the over-the-counter market on 10 July under
the ticker NZTCY.
