Trade Me corrects media report regarding Fisher & Paykel Finance
Trade Me Group Limited (TME) is aware that an article published in today's
Australian Financial Review asserts that Trade Me is one of a number of
companies preparing to submit final offers for the assets of Fisher & Paykel
Finance.
Trade Me's policy is generally not to comment on market speculation.
However, given the nature of the assertions in the article and its disclosure
obligations as a listed company, Trade Me confirms that it is not
participating in any process for the acquisition of the Fisher & Paykel
Finance business.
