GENERAL: TPW: Trading Halt in Trustpower Shares

Trustpower Limited ("Trustpower") was advised yesterday evening, after market
close, that Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust ("TECT") was proposing to sell
overnight up to 20 million ordinary shares issued by Trustpower with the sale
expected to be completed today, 23 April 2015. TECT requested Trustpower to
seek a trading halt until TECT advised that the sale was complete.
TECT (through the registered holder TECT Holdings Limited) held prior to the
sale approximately 33.20% of Trustpower's ordinary shares. If all 20 million
shares are sold, this would reduce TECT's holding to approximately 26.81%.
