Update on Sale of Snowtown Stage 2 South
TrustPower announced in late July 2012 that financial close had been achieved
for the 270MW Snowtown Stage 2 Wind Farm development and the Group has all
necessary project contracts and financing in place to proceed to
construction. Project construction is now underway.
At that time TrustPower noted it was involved in ongoing exclusive
discussions with a party interested in owning the 126MW Snowtown South part
of the Stage 2 development.
TrustPower advises that these discussions have been discontinued and the
Group will arrange a competitive sales process for Snowtown South following
commissioning which is targeted for May 2014.
TrustPower is confident that there will be significant interest from a wide
range of investors post commissioning of Snowtown South.
