GENERAL: TRP: Transpower announces interest rate for bond issue

Following the successful bookbuild process for its bond offer, Transpower New
Zealand Limited confirmed today that the offer has closed and the full issue
amount of $50 million plus oversubscriptions of $25 million has been
allocated to the participants (or their clients) in the bookbuild process.
There was no public pool for the offer.

The interest rate for the fixed rate bonds will be 4.30 per cent per annum,
which reflects a margin of 0.62 per cent over the swap rate for the period
the same term as the bonds. The bonds will be issued on 30 June 2015 and will
mature on 30 June 2022. The bonds are expected to be quoted on the NZX Debt
Market.

The updated pricing supplement for the issue is attached.
