Xero and Square announce integration in the U.S.

Accounting software company Xero Limited (XRO) announces an integration with
Square, Inc., a U.S. company with a suite of business tools aimed at making
commerce easy.
The integration will enable customers to seamlessly link their Xero and
Square accounts in minutes, allowing transaction data to flow automatically
from point of sale from Square to back-office accounting software from Xero.
Sellers and small businesses can now save time, which was previously spent
manually inputting sales.
Peter Karpas, Xero CEO North America, says, "With a joint commitment to
building beautiful software solutions that are affordable and accessible to

platform. Like Square, we are always looking at ways of enhancing our

Small businesses using Xero in the U.S. will be able to integrate with Square
from today in the U.S. (31 March 2014).
