100 Z sites rebranded, complete by mid year
Z Energy today said over 100 sites in its retail network had been
successfully rebranded as Z and the company was on track to complete the
entire network by the middle of this year.
Z Energy's General Manager of Retail, Mark Forsyth, said a media report
suggesting the Z rebranding work was on hold was just plain wrong.
"We're undertaking one of the largest rebranding exercises in New Zealand and
we're nearly halfway through the network. By the end of June every part of
our business will be completely rebranded to reflect our distinct Kiwi
ownership and our commitment to New Zealand," he said.
Mark Forsyth said customers love Z's new offer - the guaranteed forecourt
service between 10am-5pm, the $5,000 local neighbourhood investment, and the
great new food and coffee offer, is really hitting the mark.
"People tell us that they can't wait for Z to arrive in their neighbourhood,"
he said.
"We're tracking the feedback of our customers very closely and in a way which
gives us much better insight into what our customers love and what we can do
better.
"Thanks to the effort and commitment of our team we are achieving some
outstanding results in terms of brand awareness and preference and the
overall customer experience.
"We will be building on these results as we bring the Z brand and experience
to the rest of our network over the next three months."
