Well, I hadn't thought of trying to power the bright lights of Pt Augusta until you published your photo. I was thinking of Copley, population 73 [2016 Census] which is 5-10 Km away. But it'll need a transmission line [or a long extension cord] from the site and also one of Elon Musk's batteries would be needed too, for periods when both gensets are down. Seems like too much trouble for a very small return so I'm thinking there are no realistic commercial possibilities. A large storage battery on site would be useful, though, because with both generators down there would be no power to power the compressors to start up the gasifier chambers to run the generators. It's a closed loop.
Of course, Stage 2 is the main prize, Pie. It'll only take the equivalent of 38 more Sieman's generators to make the 100 MW of power needed to run the urea plant. I'm looking forward to that.
