I had a chat last week with one of my mate working in Gwalia. He said they never achive the target in the last couple months. Most of the stopes are located at the deeper level which is not good for TKM. In addition, the grade of the stope is not really good but it is not bad. At that depth, it will be better if the grade is 5 g/t or higher. The stopes size is small but the shape is unstable from my POV creating higher dilution which will be bad for your mining grade.
That's why Gwalia need to mix their source of stopes from the upper level.
With the previous scheme, they have to wait until the development to new shalower source be available which means it will be bit more complicated because in the same time they have to raise capital for new development and dealing with high TKM due to stopes at the deeper level.
Note : I was so lucky to buy SBM 8 years ago when the price was 0.15 and sold half of it 5 years ago. I was so stupid for not selling this at 2020
