Just several years ago, GWALIA was one of the best operation in OZ, 240koz+ @ $800/oz AISC. After putting in 100s millions CAPEX in improving it, now they achieved half the production @ 400% costs. We understand the mine is getting deeper so the costs naturally gets higher, but while GWALIA reserve grades are still very decent, at this production rate and continuous disappointing results, the board and management have to take the blame despite they are only willing to take money but not responsibilities.
