Agree, and the wind turbines can spin 24/7 whereas the sun shines only in the daytime (even in Qld! ... thinking back to the words of Peanut Joh), giving much greater flexibility of when to sell power into grid and when to bank it the pumped hydro.
With Stanwell involved in potential green hydrogen production, they are no doubt looking to secure a 24/7 supply which solar cant offer and one would not really be wanting to provide them with ‘valuable’ power from the ‘pumped hydro battery’ during the night.
All looking good to me for the future of GNX.
Just have to keep any opportunistic corporate vultures at bay & well away.
