The difference between a raise at 1c and a raise at say 1.8c is stark. Also the amount raised is unnecessarily large.
What was needed was patience.
Gold is screaming towards usd3,000 per ounce in the next 12 to 24 months. Plus Telfer story needs to be resolved.
So many opportunities, and management is only thinking about their own pay packets - suggest remuneration report strike!
