These guys wouldn't have used the term "Potentially Lithium bearing pegmatites" lightly. In fact, there's something they already knew but wanted to wait for bigger one through essays.

And, geologists who are actively working in explorations nowadays are super-qualified with high tech support.

We are not in a century where we would've assumed what's beneath and dug around.
