From my understanding of the Bitterwasser clays, as with the Clayton Valley clays, the success and high recovery of lithium from the clay with sulphuric and organic acids suggests it's not ccomposed of a hectorite type lithium bearing mineral. So this is good as no roasting is required as happens with the McDermitt deposit.
