Afternoon,

This is a cracker of an announcement – MDI were initially targeting only one BIF (Banded Iron Formation) unit which saw intercepts including:

• 22m @ 23.8g/t

• 8m @ 56g/t

• 5m @26.5g/t

This has now become three BIF’s, which potentially increases the mineralised plunge from 500m to 1500m, substantially increasing the significance of the high grade underground target. This has been further backed up by down-hole EM data which represents more zones of massive sulphide, which in the upper, existing BIF, hosts intervals of high grade gold mineralisation.

We are also awaiting assays on the confirmatory RC drilling, which should re-confirm the existing resource and pit-design for the production side of the MDI story.
