Just noticed your edit re geothermal geologists...
In the olden days ( 2010 ish) Graeme Beardsmore at www.hotdryrocks.com was the guru for inferred resource reports for ASX EGS companies in Australia. GDY was in-house or another consultant. Beardsmore also participated in international efforts to create a unified geothermal resource reporting system but I don't know his current activities.
Also at that time SKM in New Zealand was the main player for volcanic (ie New Zealand and Indonesia) geothermal but they were taken over by Jacobs Engineering. There may be others in New Zealand. (e.g. https://www.nzgeothermal.org.nz/who-we-are/member-companies/ )
More recently in Australia https://www.rockwater.com.au/services/geothermal/ has been prominent but their projects so far have been low temperature. Given their Winton experience they may be useful for similar low-T projects elsewhere in Qld.
Contact with Beardsmore or Rockwater may provide some leads. I'd be wary of using petroleum geologists who have not had recent geothermal project experience - they may be ok for assessing sediment-hosted reservoirs and the engineering and geological aspects of drilling and fracture development but active volcanic systems, hot deep granites and electricity markets are outside their usual expertise.
