This is sounding like a repeat of Geodynamics and its Cooper Basin project. EGS in basement granite to 5 km deep.. If this is all they have then it's a high-cost, low-grade resource that will not compete with a decent size solar farm..

Millungera Basin geothermal temps are projected to be in the sweet spot 100-150 deg for Rankin Binary systems between 2-3 Km depth. There's no suggestion of drilling to 5km.
