It's a bit mysterious but this could be how a company like GSW slowly becomes a "normal" company - by buying other companies that are going concerns with non-embarrassing revenue numbers. What else are they going to do with their colossal cash pile? It's far from clear that the senior figures in the company are experienced at organically growing a company at the scale that their financing and current valuation suggest - so acquiring their way to scale isn't the worst possible idea.
