this is great news. moving from transport to producer - complete package!!
been on this ship for a while now and I'm torn between staying on or going in the longer term.
the capital needed to get this project up and running is massive!! the cost to keep the ships moving even more so.
why am I undecided about the future?... Australia-Asia power link. for the same capital as a dozen ships (or thereabouts), running an underwater power cable to various Asian hubs thus allowing for H2 to be produced in situ (with significant savings on running costs) to me makes more financial sense. it's a tuff decision but I see myself exiting in the medium term. Tiwi may end up being an electricity power supply hub...who knows.
I wish all lt holders all the best. reality is we don't know what the future holds and can only go by our own gut feel.
