Sarcasm? We'll have to go to basics. You are not born with a right to own anyone, their labour, or products of their labour (from food, healthcare, to clothes). Humans are conceptual beings, we deal with each other through voluntary trade, exchanging one value for another. Values don't just exist, they are created through a person's effort. Companies consist of individual people. They create life serving values, in the hopes to make a profit (selfish), which is great! You can CHOOSE to deal with them or not, its up to your own judgement.
By generalising that companies can't be trusted you are in affect saying that humans are too malicious to deal with one another, for the most part they are out there to decieve and manipulate. That humans are irrational beings unable to think and profit not by creating values but by faking them. Every life serving product around you contradicts this premise. This thought is metaphysical and epistemological and you have to sort that out introspectivaly.
These thoughts, although seem minor on surface, are foundational and their collorolies can lead to things like Socialism, Communism etc, destructive politics to human life! Anyways, by my judgment, the people at DRE seem pretty trustworthy and rational. We've all trusted the possibility for them to create value with our money
