I have been around engineering and manufacturing for 40 years and have watched accountants reach more upper managment positions during this time. Generraly speaking they will try and save 50c here and there on the purchase of equipment and systems - only to spend $$$$ down the road to fix their mistakes because of their myopic view of the world, and making every transaction stand on its own merits. And as you stated the Sims was an accountant - I rest my case.

Anyhoo - thank you for your advice. I am a big boy and know how much of a risk this mob have become.
