Just adding my couple cents worth here... having been in the phd academic world for many a years, I will say that if any claims made by SOR regarding UNSWs research are even mildly incorrect, we would have heard about it by now.
Academics and researchers are fiercely envious of each and often will dig for any loophole or flaw in reported findings or results in order to gain the upperhand. Research is probably even more closely monitored by the ARC, Australian Research Council... and so I have to believe that all the fantastic claims are true or at the very cannot be disproven.
Ok... ivory tower rant over.
