    Yeah I agree moosey, at least the DOE has structured it so that both options are possible. Which is the smart thing to do and aligns perfectly with the NFWG's report.

    I also view it as extremely positive that the DOE and Silex are still very much aligned, which this announcement shows. I was starting to feel that the revitalisation of the nuclear fuel supply chain had been concentrated with companies such as Centrus, however this shows Silex has a key role to play. I am excited for what's to come, I think this is somewhat the DOE's way of saying "well, you say this tech can solve a lot of our problems, let's get the ball rolling and see what it can really do". If Silex can indeed prove itself on a commercial scale and get the process to market this company can add another 0 to its market cap. Now we just have to wait for uranium price to recover (fingers crossed that's not too far away now).
