I quite agree that those most probably have useful directors. Our company board has been a holiday camp for academics with largely political rather than economic objectives. We have long been lacking a strong directing hand, as our history shows. Solar power experiments in the Middle East? Really! If for all those years MG had been refining his lasers, even in his shed alone, surely we would be further ahead instead of lagging the field and behind the game as we are today. What did we achieve for all of those years in the wilderness in which let us not forget MG was then earning about $1M per year!
