I think ASIC are serious, but they've had less than 200 report of fraudulent activity to date this year, so they have little ability to do anything. Someone actually needs to lodge a complaint to facilitate them to do something. You can do it on their website. But the problem is, most of the complaints lodged are based on assumptions or speculation, so understandably it's like saying "I think this person over here robbed from that person" without any credible evidence.
