No one likes to see a fall in the SP of a stock one owns and I am no exception, especially in this case from a far greater height. I just keep telling myself-look at the fundamentals (spec stock)-what we know about Glenaras, not one negative piece of news - the fact that major shareholders (existing top10) in the last two weeks paid 75c for 19m options when the SP was already on the slide - Cannacord Genuity mop up residual options.
SP driven down by manipulation- directors over time have purchased on market and taken up options. We know that if Glenaras is a success the SP will reverse course. So what is the catalyst for current SP action? To state the obvious none of us knows for certain. Those who managed to view the external video about stocks being manipulated would have observed that one reason for this behaviour was to pitch a low ball offer for assets of target company.
All through this period of SP decline volumes of trades are extremely low. There are no large parcels being offered for sale or being sold on market. The options for any entity to secure big chunks of GLL are limited, which may explain the manipulation tactic. GLL recently appointed a new director who specialises in takeover activity in gas exploration companies. The existing management has the skills and expertise and already done the heavy lifting to this point so this new director is not required for any other purpose.
The top10 SH have not been updated following the 19m options purchase so it would be good to have this information.
I don't expect any other news until the New Year for project update (as referred to in last update).
Just my take on what's going on, time will tell if I am right or wrong.
