Also, FWIW I think todays buying is in part induced by jstall's post. However I also think that the true market liquidity has been very poor for a long time and that it doesn't take much interest to loosen the shackles and push the SP back to where it 'should' be. If there is a bit of a retail pick up and it just happens to coincide with some decent news things could get very interesting...
