Given the lack of lithium coming out of NT at the moment, I doubt anyone would be building a lithium processing facility just yet. BUT - That area is part of the proposed Middle Arm Precinct which is meant for oil and gas and strategic minerals. Working on a couple of tenders for it at the moment. DIPL want the area around Ichthys and darwin LNG to be a world class precinct for value add to oil and gas and strategic minerals. Things like ammonia production, hydrogen etc. Would be the obvious place if we do go down the route of valuing adding before shipping. So maybe that is where the link comes from.
