My friends dad is a rheumatologist and asked him whether he knew of pentosan and he has never heard of it... wouldn't he be going to conferences etc to have at least heard of it?! It's available through TGA so surely it's an option they need to be aware of...
I guess I'm in the vet industry and I don't hear about phase3 medications until they are commercialised...
