Im not an expert on the differences and make no claim to be. I am only relaying opinions of others, some of whom I consider professional and reliable. Others I can not speak to their merits.
Having said that I believe in practical terms a lot of the difference can be explained by the 43-101 only measuring a pit constrained resource where as under the JORC code you are not pit constrained. WR1 can include resource that falls outside the limits of a designed pit under JORC, PMT cannot under the 43-101. You can argue which is right/better/correct but until PFS stage is reached the comparisons cannot simply extracted from the two MRE's.
