On the spec side of my portfolio I always check out if there are listed options first. If there is:
- a good amount of time
- not too much of a gap to being in the money
then I seriously consider them.
In the case of GLVOA they met my criteria albeit with a non life changing amount of money down. I've been lucky with options plays, and happy to admit to more luck than logic sometimes, but the upside leverage potential can be huge.
So looking at my buy price (0.007) plus call (0.04) in Dec 2025, if FPO's are not 0.047 by then, well why would any of us still be here? In the meantime I haven't put a lot down on the table and wont cry if they expire worthless.
